- - ROHM a fost înființată la Kyoto, Japonia, în 1958. ROHM proiectează și produce semiconductori, circuite integrate și alte componente electronice. Aceste componente își găsesc o casă în piețele dinamice și din ce în ce mai mari ale piețelor wireless, ale calculatoarelor, ale automobilelor și ale consumatorilor de electronice. Unele dintre cele mai inovatoare echipamente și dispozitive utilizează produse ROHM.
Prezența companiei ROHM pe piața din America de Nord continuă să se extindă cu un sediu logistic din San Diego, California, un centru de design din San Jose, California, un centru QA din Novi, Michigan, un birou de vânzări din Guadalajara, Mexic și o rețea de vânzări marketing, vânzări și asistență tehnică pentru clienții din America de Nord și de Sud din Canada în Brazilia. Pe lângă o forță de vânzări directe, ROHM se bucură de colaborarea mai multor organizații de reprezentare a vânzărilor și a distribuitorilor electronici de vârf din industrie.
Timp de peste patruzeci de ani, ROHM sa axat pe filozofia fundamentală de personalizare. Compania a lucrat îndeaproape cu producătorii de echipamente pentru a dezvolta echipamente de nouă generație și a utiliza tehnologia dobândită prin aceste eforturi pentru a propune soluții de sistem clienților săi și pentru a le oferi în permanență valori adăugate ridicate.
Majoritatea echipamentelor de producție ale ROHM au fost dezvoltate in-house. Acest lucru a dat ROHM capacitatea de a răspunde imediat nevoilor pieței în schimbare.
